University Recreation offers a free one-week pass to the HPER building



University Recreation invites all current faculty and staff to come experience what UREC has to offer during Spring Break! A free one-week pass will be awarded to those wishing to visit the HPER building. To redeem your free week pass, please complete this Qualtrics online form. Passes can be used Monday through Friday, March 21 through March 25.

The opening hours of the main office of UREC are as follows:

  • Monday to Thursday: 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Friday: 12:30 p.m.-4 p.m.
  • Saturday & Sunday: Closed

The primary facility of the University Recreation Department is the Health, Physical Education, and Recreation (HPER) building (located at 155 N. Stadium Dr.). Highlights include the Donna Axum Fitness Center, an Olympic-size swimming pool, four basketball courts, an indoor track, group fitness studios, functional training areas, a cycling studio, racquetball courts, bouldering and climbing walls, UREC Outdoors and lockers and showers. .

The University Recreation Department is a major campus-wide service unit of the Division of Student Affairs. University Recreation’s mission is to empower students to succeed through recreation and wellness.
