Chow, who has sold fish noodle soup for three decades, said he won five golden keys after his daughter was introduced to the game by his daughter, according to Culture Geek.

Chow said he was surprised to learn he won the grand prize. He said what had happened had not yet fully integrated. At first it was a scam when Lazada’s team surprised them with the news.

Chow added that he started shopping at Lazada in 2017 and bought more basic necessities online since the start of the pandemic, when the elderly were encouraged to stay at home.

Lazada Singapore Managing Director Loh Wee Lee said their goal is to support their sellers through this difficult year, and they are happy to see their sellers and buyers rewarded.

Lee added that this year’s 11.11 achieved record sales and that they are happy to showcase the possibilities that e-commerce offers to change lives.
